On December 1, 2017, the “2017 Surface Analysis Technology Seminar and the Unveiling Ceremony of Huazhong University of Science and Technology-Shimadzu Cooperation Laboratory” was held in Wuhan Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Based on the principle of strategic needs and complementary advantages, the two sides decided to jointly establish a joint laboratory, in order to give full play to the strengths of both sides, strengthen cooperation in various fields such as surface analysis technology application and innovation development, and accelerate the pace of double construction. Li Zhentao, Director of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, said that the joint establishment of cooperative laboratories will be more conducive to the improvement of analytical testing equipment and the improvement of analytical level of Huake University. As a cooperation base, it is also conducive to the improvement of postgraduate application level and the development of talents.
